The ADA: What YOU Need to Know
Presented on April 26, 2017 by Conrad Reynoldson, JD, of Washington Civil & Disability Advocate.
The ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the public. How well do you understand this law and how it applies to your daily life? In this presentation, Conrad Reynoldson, JD, of the law firm Washington Civil & Disability Advocate (www.wacda.com), discusses the provisions of the ADA and answers questions for people with SCI who want to better understand their rights under the ADA, including what to do if you suspect a violation and how to advocate for yourself and others.
