Employment after Spinal Cord Injury: How Do You Get There?

Presented on January 8, 2013.

Getting back to work or into the work force for the first time after a spinal cord injury can seem out of reach. Accessibility issues, health problems, insurance considerations and other financial and practical concerns often require people to re-evaluate their job or career plans. In this video several individuals with SCI share their experiences of becoming employed after their injuries and how they navigated all the hurdles along the way. In addition, a University of Washington vocational counselor provides information that can help you meet your employment goals.
